The Elgin Outboard and Me!

This is me and my first boat in Pittman's Cove on Lake Greenwood!

The outboard was a late 40's Elgin which I lost in the water one fall. I was able to recover the motor the following spring and Tommy Smith helped me bring it back to life. Thanks Tommy! Here is a link to a site dedicated to Elgin outboards. http://www.elginoutboards.org/
